The President’s Club, project cover
01 — The ChallengeWhat we were handed

Samsung wanted to thank the partners who made it a market leader — and mean it.

The President’s Club is a members-only programme for Samsung’s loyal partners and distributors, giving them airport lounge access, concierge services and premium hotels, resorts and spas. The user base is confident, modern and very busy, so the interface had to be self-explanatory: every tab names itself, and nothing sits more than two levels down. Choose a location and every President’s Club service nearby is listed.

02 — Groundwork

Structure before surface

Every flow was argued in grey first. Nothing went to visual design until the journey held up.

WIREFRAME · SERVICE TAXONOMY
WIREFRAME · SERVICE TAXONOMYClub social, airport assistance, vacations, evenings, portraits, health, concierge — named and ordered in grey first, then made bookable through a single request form with the same fields each time.
03 — Design System

The kit of parts

The decisions taken before a single screen was drawn. Everything after this is assembly.

Colour

Antique gold on black, and nothing else. A two-colour palette is what keeps a premium app from reading as a loyalty scheme.
Typography

Montserrat across four weights, letterspaced wide in titles. Capitals carry the formality; the weights do the hierarchy.

If anyone understood my maverick dreams and was able to translate it into technology and neat processes it was the team at Roars. More important to me as a complete techno moron was to be able to explain what I envisage, the business outcomes I wanted, and from an understanding to an execution, Team Roars did it marvelously.
